Welcome to the first Wildling Studio Newsletter.

At Wildling Studio we set out to provide full body reformer pilates workouts that challenge the body, uplift the mind, and connect us with community. We have now been open for 1 month, pursuing this mission and want to thank you for your interest and support. It has been such a joy connecting with people from across our community, seeing you find the fun in reformer pilates whilst developing your strength and wellbeing across the course of one short month.

Wildling provides a space to retreat from everyday life where you (and we) can focus on you. So with that in mind, we won’t spam you. We won’t send you newsletters for newsletters sake, you are busy enough as is. We will only send you news when there is interesting or worthwhile information to share. In this newsletter, there are a couple of schedule updates, promotions and a survey invitation to seek your input on studio developments. so we can prioritise what you want and need as as the studio develops

Schedule updates

The following class additions are being made to the schedule:

1. Monday 6.15pm is being added to the schedule from the 7th of October

2. 6am Tuesday and 6am Friday has been added.

3. Monday 10am is staying on the schedule!

Removals from the schedule:

1. 11am Saturday and 4pm Monday have been removed from the schedule due to limited bookings.

Our classes are filling up! Get your reoccurring bookings & waitlists sorted

It is so fantastic seeing familiar faces return to the studio again and again. And now our classes are starting to fill up! So if you want to secure your favorite session days and time, it’s a good idea to organise a reocurring booking. You can do this through the portal or via email request to info@wildlingstudio.co.nz

Our generous cancellation policy does allow you to cancel up to 4 hours before class without being charged. So please do put yourself on the Waitlist if your desired class is full. It is likely that a spot may open for you. If you do need to cancel, please do so through the portal or the Gymmaster App, as this will automatically book in the next person on the waitlist to take your spot.

Introduction to reformer 4 week course for $100

The four week introduction to reformer block course sold out twice. This is a set programme that introduces you to all aspects of the reformer, from body positions and common movements to understanding spring tension and safety. At the end of this course you will feel confident to navigate your way around the machine and follow the instructors directions in group classes.

Expressions of interest are now being taken for the next course. This will take place on Tuesdays at 5pm for four weeks. Start date TBC, likely within the next 3-4 weeks (depending on interest). Register your interest by completing the following form, if there are enough people interested, the memberships will be released for purchase.

Now that the doors have been open for a month, we would love to hear what you think so that we can prioritise what you want and need as as the studio develops. You are invited to complete the survey below. It seeks feedback on your experience so far, as well as potential class additions to the schedule.

New beginners classes

If you can’t make the introduction course, don’t worry, two regular beginners classes have been added to the weekly schedule:

• Wednesdays at 12pm

• Saturdays at 10am

These classes are a great way to start if you are hesitant or nervous about using the machines. Beginners classes also offer more simplicity in movements and less choreography so that you can focus on navigating your way around the reformer and completing your full body workout. Sign up here:

Whilst our casual classes are competitively priced at $34.50. Our concession memberships provide even greater savings, working out at the following per class rate:

5 trip: $33

10 trip: $31

20 trip: $29
