Meet the team
Ashlee Cuneen, Owner, Pilates Teacher & Personal Trainer
National Certificate in Exercise Lvl 4 (Personal training), Skills Active. Certified Mat and Reformer Pilates Teacher, Breathe Education.
Hi, I am Ashlee , owner of Wildling Studio. I am so pleased you are here.
My love of reformer Pilates started many years ago when I first tried a class in my local gym. Somehow, despite my lack of coordination skills; with arms and legs flailing around with straps in the air, I felt wild and free. I find the beauty with reformer is that not only can we drastically improve our physical and mental health, but there is such joy in accessing movements that we don’t often explore in everyday life.
After 14 years of teaching (primary & intermediate school) and working in sedentary office jobs, becoming unwell while living in the ‘rat race’, I realised that my health in all aspects of the word needed to be prioritised. So I reconnected with my long lost love and retrained. First I qualified as a personal trainer (as a long time gym goer too, it felt only right), then went on to train with Breathe Education as a group reformer and mat Pilates teacher; and now I think I have the best job in the world. I work with people from all walks of life, supporting them to increase their own wellbeing through reformer pilates. I get to see my clients increase their quality of life by experiencing decreased levels of everyday pain, increased strength, balance, confidence and mental health and it is such a privilege to be part of their journey.
I can’t wait to see you in the studio soon!
Laura Langley, Pilates Instructor
Hi, I am Laura, a Mat and Reformer Pilates teacher, trained through Studio Pilates.
My journey into teaching has been shaped by a deep passion for movement, mindfulness and holistic health.
I teach with a focus on body awareness, strength and flexibility, aiming to help clients feel more connected and empowered in their bodies. I believe Pilates can be truly transformative, not just physically, but in creating a stronger sense of inner balance and well-being.
I was inspired to train as a Pilates Instructor after beginning classes at Wildling Studio. The holistic philosophy of the studio combined with the positive impacts of reformer pilates played a pivotal role in guiding me towards this path. I am excited to now share what I’ve learned and to create a welcoming, supportive space for others to explore their own wellness journeys.
Tony Cuneen, Chief Enthusiasm Officer
Tony has was born into his well deserved role of Chief Enthusiasm Office at Wildling Studio. He will excitedly greet you upon arrival and fetch you some shoes at the end of class. They may not be your shoes, but he will be very excited to share them with his new best friend (you) nonetheless.
Tony has had formal training in learning how to sit, wait and come. But he is learning to calm his farm when his new friends arrive at the studio. You may be asked to ignore him if he is overly excited, but this is to help him, and only until he remember his manners.
If you are not comfortable with large floopy Labradors, please let Ashlee know when booking your first class and she will ensure Tony is provided with alternative duties outside of the studio, or kept well controlled for your visit.
