Meet the team
Ashlee Sinclair, Owner, Pilates Instructor, Pilates Teacher Trainer & Personal Trainer
National Certificate in Exercise Lvl 4 (Personal training), Skills Active. Certified Mat and Reformer Pilates Teacher, Breathe Education.
Hi, I am Ashlee , owner of Wildling Studio. I am so pleased you are here.
My passion for Reformer Pilates began many years ago when I stepped into my first class. Despite initially feeling uncoordinated—with straps moving in all directions—I felt a sense of freedom and joy in exercise that stayed with me. What I love most about the reformer is its unique ability to safely guide the body into movements that will increase muscle mass and bone density that have a profound impact on our overall quality of life.
After 14 years in primary and intermediate school teaching, followed by several years in sedentary office roles, I experienced firsthand how easily health can decline when life becomes unbalanced. During a period of burnout and illness, I realised I needed to completely reprioritise my wellbeing. That journey led me back to movement. I first qualified as a personal trainer, then continued to become a certified reformer and mat Pilates instructor—and I haven’t looked back since.
Today, as a Pilates teacher, trainer and studio owner, I have the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life. My focus is on using an evidenced based approach to reducing pain, improving mobility, increasing strength, and supporting people to age well. Every day, I witness clients experience meaningful changes: decreased everyday discomfort, improved balance and confidence, greater resilience, and enhanced quality of life.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the studio and support you on your own wellbeing journey.
Laura, Pilates Instructor
Hi, I am Laura, a Mat and Reformer Pilates teacher, trained through Studio Pilates.
My journey into teaching has been shaped by a deep passion for movement, mindfulness and holistic health.
I teach with a focus on body awareness, strength and flexibility, aiming to help clients feel more connected and empowered in their bodies. I believe Pilates can be truly transformative, not just physically, but in creating a stronger sense of inner balance and well-being.
I was inspired to train as a Pilates Instructor after beginning classes at Wildling Studio. The holistic philosophy of the studio combined with the positive impacts of reformer pilates played a pivotal role in guiding me towards this path. I am excited to now share what I’ve learned and to create a welcoming, supportive space for others to explore their own wellness journeys.
Lauren, Pilates Instructor
Hey, I'm Lauren, a Mat and Reformer Pilates teacher, trained through Studio Pilates. I'm also currently completing my Personal Training certificate. Outside the studio, I’m a long-distance trail runner, which is what first led me to Pilates. I was looking for something to balance out the intensity of running with slower, more deliberate movement that builds strength, stability and supports injury prevention.
Pilates quickly became more than cross-training. I love how it challenges both body and mind, with precise movement that leaves you stronger and more aware of how you move. It’s this combination of strength, mobility, and focus that keeps me coming back, and what I enjoy most about teaching.
Whether you’re looking to complement your sport, prevent injuries, or simply enjoy the burn of mindful movement, I’m looking forward to supporting you in the studio.
Genevieve, Pilates Instructor
I originally fell in love with Pilates as a way to manage chronic pain. When I started taking reformer classes at Wildling, I noticed changes in my body that I hadn’t experienced with other forms of exercise—I felt stronger, moved more easily, and, most importantly, experienced less pain.
Working in a corporate environment, Pilates became a little window in my day to find balance and reconnect with my body. From there, teaching felt like a natural next step—a way to find fulfillment in a community-focused way.
What I love most about Pilates is its dynamism. Whether you’re looking for a challenging workout, a more mindful approach to movement, or support with pain management, my goal as an instructor is to help you find a movement practice that brings confidence and joy.
I love the sense of community at Wildling and the way classes are thoughtfully designed with a deep understanding of clients, encouraging self-efficacy, choice, and trust in your own body.
Looking forward to seeing you in a class soon!
Tony Sinclair, Chief Enthusiasm Officer
Tony was born into his well deserved role of Chief Enthusiasm Office at Wildling Studio. He will excitedly greet you upon arrival and fetch you some shoes at the end of class. They may not be your shoes, but he will be very excited to share them with his new best friend (you) nonetheless.
Tony has had formal training in learning how to sit, wait and come. But he is learning to calm his farm when his new friends arrive at the studio. You may be asked to ignore him if he is overly excited, but this is to help him, and only until he remember his manners.
If you are not comfortable with large floopy Labradors, please let Ashlee know when booking your first class and she will ensure Tony is provided with alternative duties outside of the studio, or kept well controlled for your visit.
